ADDITIONAL COSTS:
UNIFORMS:
In some instances the “Company” the practical service provider is unable to provide uniforms, in such instances where the student has to provide his/her own a minimum of 2-3 (jackets, pants, aprons, neckties, hats and safety shoes is required}. Estimated cost R600.00 – R800.00.
KNIVES:
The same as for uniform applies to KNIVES approx.
R 600.00 for a chef’s’, butcher, paring, peeler.
However, the majority of establishments provide all knives as part of their tools.
TEXT BOOKS:
The 1st textbook CLASSICAL COOKING THE MODERN WAY - (METHODS AND TECHNIQUES) is included in the Deposit, subject to that the full deposit is paid upfront.
The second textbook – (RECIPES) will be required from the beginning of the 3rd semester at a cost of R900.00 - R1000.00 subject to foreign exchange and import duty.
TRANSPORT & ACCOMMODATION:
Unless specifically stated otherwise by the ‘COMPANY’, all students make their own arrangements, but assistance can be provided where necessary.
